Work Hard, Play Harder: Achievements & Goals

One: This weekend has been good to me. As well as working and blogging, I am happy to announce that as of next month I will have my own ‘Food and Events’ column in ‘The Coleshill Post’ newspaper. My hard work is shining through and it definitely pays off to be persistent.

Two: From 7am Friday to 7am Saturday, my best nerd pal played games for 24-hours straight. A couple of us went over on the night time to get involved, cheer him on and eat pizza until 2 in the morning. The event was all for a good cause and to support a wonderful charity, Special Effect. There’s still time to get involved and donate if you’re feeling super generous.

Three: Fur coats and super blonde hair for work. I completed an ‘Assertiveness’ training course last week to improve my communication skills at work. I’m always trying to grow and improve as a person.

Four: We don’t do ‘soppy’, but when I received tickets for a show in London and red roses on Valentines day, I was gobsmacked. I’ve always wanted to see the show and I’ve heard brilliant things about it. If you have seen the show, please let me know what you think…

Don’t forget, you can follow me on Bloglovin, Twitter and Facebook for weekly updates.

  5. OOOH I think I donated to 'special effect' as when me and pete went into game we got a receipt to text and donate some money so that's awesome, I could totally not see myself being able to play for 24 hours haha! I love your hair so much, I am just not sure the seafront wind would want me to have the fringe haha xxx
