Review: Taste At Rofuto New Menu Reveal

Set up high in Birmingham’s city skyline is Rofuto – an idyllic Japanese Izakaya style restaurant and cocktail bar. Located on the 16th floor of the Park Regis Hotel, Rofuto offers a wide range of traditional Pan Asian and Japanese cuisines. The restaurant also has its own separate entrance and express lift from the rest of the hotel, allowing a more ‘exclusive’ dining experience for guests. The restaurant lends itself to the prominent Japanese theme, with a koi carp graffiti wall mural upon entering and a theatrical bar centred in the middle of the room, overcast by dramatic wooden beams and lighting. Park Regis: How A Spa Day Can Banish The Blues

Imagine this. Your bestie arrives at your house for the weekend. What do you decide to do? Sit around, drink wine, eat food and go for afternoon tea and a spa day… obviously! I knew that I had to make the weekend special, so I searched for the best spas in Birmingham. The Shakina Spa in the Park Regis Hotel (You may have seen that I was invited for an overnight stay before) hasn’t been open for long, so I thought I’d treat Laura and myself to a day of facials, gel nails and afternoon tea. Exploring the new Park Regis Hotel, Birmingham

Park Regis being one of them is a brand new 4* upscale hotel with a boutique feel and had barely been open for a week when I was invited last weekend for a complimentary stay with dinner, breakfast and an afternoon tea experience. Although I live just 10 minutes away from Birmingham city centre, there’s something about checking into hotel for the first time, room service, free toiletries, big comfy beds and walk in showers that just excites me. It’s one of the many reasons why I love writing about hotels on my blog, and I have now created…

Win a Luxury Afternoon Tea for Two at Park Regis Hotel

Being a food writer means I’m also a huge fan of afternoon tea, especially when it’s done properly. Last weekend I was invited to stay at the brand new delux Park Regis hotel in Birmingham. It’s located at the top Broad Street and boasts two new restaurants and a cocktail bar towering high above the city skyline. As far as hotel decor goes, the inside interior is stunning. My review of our stay, what we ate and how well Park Regis treated us will be posted shortly, but first… I have a wonderful competition to share with you. We were offered to try the Classic Afternoon Tea (£24) and it’s just a…
