A Boat Adventure Over To The Island Of Capri, Italy

Not gonna lie folks, the boat trip from Sorrento to Capri was one of the scariest things I’ve done while on holiday. Although the final destination is one of the most jaw-dropping sights a girl ever did see, the journey itself was a hair-raising experience. While in Sorrento, our hostess at our B&B told us that we could get a boat over to Capri (one of the best and most beautiful sights in Italy) and it would cost around £90 per person. Picture Perfect Positano -A Trip To The Amalfi Coast

If you read my last blog post on ‘Exploring Sorrento‘ – you’ll know that not only did I visit Rome a few months back, but my boyfriend and I took a little detour out to the Amalfi Coast and most importantly – Positano. Little day trips out meant that we could see some incredible sights, but return back to our little B&B in Sorrento and not have to spend tonnes of money in a new hotel every night. If you haven’t already seen them, my last few posts talked about How To Visit The Vatican Without Crowds and what we got up to when in Rome. So here goes… we arrived in Sorrento by train and ferry which took about two hours and I’m so glad we did now, because I honestly think it’s one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. The water is a gorgeous shade of blue, the scenery is something out of a film,…

A Blogger Trip To Tuscany, Italy

Last week, I jetted off to Italy for the experience of a lifetime. I was recently asked if I would like to review a 4* converted mansion in the Tuscan hills. This meant relaxing next to the swimming pool, eating Italian food and drinking various glasses of wine… just for the fun of it. Una Palazzo Mannaioni sits comfortably at the top of the hill in Montaione and is one of 500 ancient buildings in Tuscany. The hotel thrives on offering guests a relaxing stay, and they certainly lived up to their promise, demonstrating quality service throughout. The hotel is split into two parts: the original medieval mansion and the new modern…
