Earlier this year, Stirchley was named as one of the ‘Coolest neighbourhoods in the UK‘. It renders a positive, vibrant community spirit alongside showcasing a plethora of impressive micro-breweries, places to drink, takeaways, artisan bakeries, restaurants and pop up shops. There’s an ever-growing initiative for new places to open up in this expanding hive of culture and independent growth.
From 3 to 31 August, Stirchley and surrounding areas will take part in the Eat Out To Help Out Scheme. Customers will receive a 50% discount (up to the value of £10) when eating in restaurants that are registered with the initiative. The scheme is UK-wide and can be used every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday throughout August, as many times as you wish. You are entitled to 50% off both food and non-alcoholic drinks.
The best part? Any size group can use this offer. There is no minimum spend. You don’t need to sign up to an app, print any paper work or faff about with websites. The discount is automatically applied to your bill at the end, and can be used with any other discounts/offers provided by the restaurant. Note: customers cannot claim the discount on alcoholic drinks.
It’s worth bearing in mind you should always follow strict guidelines if your local area goes into lockdown.
Places that are taking part include:
- Restaurants
- Cafés
- Public houses that serve food
- Hotel restaurants
- Restaurants and cafes within tourist attractions, holiday sites and leisure facilities
- Dining rooms within members’ clubs
- Workplaces and school canteens
