Indian Restaurant Opening: 1580 Blogger Event

I can’t even begin to tell you how refreshing it is to be invited to a restaurant opening that’s not in Birmingham City Centre. With so many new openings as of late, it’s hard to keep up with so many new places. So when an opportunity came along to review 1580, an Indian restaurant on Chester Road outside of the town centre, I was really intrigued as  I currently love trying out new Indian restaurants. 1580 had put some thought behind their initial blogger welcome and sent out an email explaining why the restaurant is named what it is and a bit of background information. Kudos for doing that, I like…

First Look At Tonkotsu – Selfridges Birmingham

I get the feeling it’s still undecided from the public as to whether this restaurant is welcome to the town centre, but Tonkotsu has taken over the vacant slot on the bottom level in the food hall. Birmingham is officially announced as the second home to Tonkotsu – after another six branches stretching out across London and Josh and I were invited to try the menu on a  Tuesday night. Staying Cool at the Rotunda, Birmingham

I’m averaging at least one hotel visit every two weeks at the moment. The hotel obsessive in me gets excited to show people the best places to stay in Birmingham and you wouldn’t believe the amount of DM’s I receive saying “Where is good to stay at for a reasonable price?”. When it comes to The Rotunda, the view from the top is spectacular, and even more gorgeous when the sun sets and you can see across the Midland’s landscape. I’ve walked past this place hundreds of times so I obviously had to add this one to my list… As far as views from a hotel goes, this place knocks the ball…

Netherstowe House Hotel – Hidden Gem in Lichfield

Sleeping in luxury hotels is becoming quite the hobby for me. I wish I could get paid for doing it because I’d be minted by now. I’m very lucky to be the type of blogger I am, as I get given so many incredible hotel opportunities. As you may have already seen in my hotels category, I’m building up a portfolio of some of the most stunning hotels across the West Midlands, with plenty more in the pipeline. There are not enough words to describe how in love I was with Netherstowe House, a former water mill and a stunning Georgian-style hotel. And I don’t even need to state how chic…
