If this week wasn’t already awesome enough, imagine my squishy little face when I received two lovely little packages to review this week. The first being the launch of the brand new ‘Wifty Box’ which was sent to me for review. Based in London, ‘The Wifty team search high and low to find those new and unusual accessories from jewellery to scarves and bags.’ I was really excited to see what they had sent.
I’m pretty sure I squealed when I saw the pink tissue paper AND shiny things inside. On top was a small little calender with my Birthday month on it and underneath, there were some tiny goodies to be open.
The first was this really gorgeous angel winged necklace. I’ve seen a few of these around lately and know how pricey they can be. It is a perfect size, is really dainty and falls elegantly around my neck.
How cute are these hair pins? I’m really into Silver jewellery at the moment so when I saw these with a pop of colour I loved them instantly. They might not be everyone’s taste – but I’ll more than likely wear them with wavy hair and a cute winter scarf.
Wifty also popped in a little something extra to clean my jewellery with. Although the box wasn’t huge, the presentation inside was really admirable. Each box is different and stock will range from necklaces to minimalist rings and original clutch bags. It’s a touch pricier than any Birch/Glossy Box coming in at £15, but each box contains two to three pieces from different designers. Wifty founder Gaelle Comte says, “The wonderful thing about Wifty is that we collaborate with some very talented designers who are putting together accessories exclusively for us, so you won’t find certain pieces anywhere else.”
Don’t forget you can visit the website here or follow them on Twitter @WiftyUK to find out what they’re all about. As a special gift to you, Enter Code: EMMOR10 at check-out for your first 10% discount code, valid on all shop products and on first subscription box. Voucher expires on 30/09/2014.
My second package was received from a wonderful woman called Marianne Hayfron who hand makes all of her own beauty products. It caught my eye when I read that many of her friends suffer with various skin ailments such as eczema and psoriasis. And magically after using some of her products – they found that their skin conditions had improved dramatically. I suffer badly with eczema myself, and I’ve had no reaction to any of the products. What an amazing little find and the products smell AMAZING.
I’m always using lipbalms. I’m pretty much addicted. So when this arrived on my doorstep, I couldn’t wait to try it. In all honesty, my mother was the first to nab it off me. We’re both addicted to lovely smelling lip balms and this was so pure. I’m really interested in finding people who create their own products. It sometimes means they don’t use any harsh chemicals which can sometimes affect the skin like with many mainstream products. You can read more about the Isa Marie skin care range here and it’s very affordable. What do you make of these products?
