Indian Restaurant Opening: 1580 Blogger Event

I can’t even begin to tell you how refreshing it is to be invited to a restaurant opening that’s not in Birmingham City Centre. With so many new openings as of late, it’s hard to keep up with so many new places. So when an opportunity came along to review 1580, an Indian restaurant on Chester Road outside of the town centre, I was really intrigued as  I currently love trying out new Indian restaurants. 1580 had put some thought behind their initial blogger welcome and sent out an email explaining why the restaurant is named what it is and a bit of background information. Kudos for doing that, I like…

Dining at Canal Square, Birmingham: Maharaja’s Seven Course Tasting Menu

There’s not many places in Birmingham that I go to review and scream hard about wanting to go back. Canal Square, located behind Brindley Place in Birmingham has certainly won me over. The Glass House is a gorgeous Punjabi Cuisine Restaurant that offers an impressive culinary dining experience and considering I don’t tend to enjoy spicy food all that much, this place completely surprised me. It seems that not many people are aware that this place exists as it’s tucked away along the canals and is fairly secluded from the buzzling life of Broad Street. A Blogger’s Office: Blush Pink And Rose Gold

I have something exciting to share with you. It’s been a long time coming but we’ve received our moving date for our new house, hurrah! But why did not one tell me how expensive adulating is? And by this I mean damp proofing, rewiring, bills etc! Aside from this, something AMAZING happened. I thought it would take more than a little to persuade him, but my boyfriend has agreed to let me turn our new spare room into my own office space. The best part is, he said: “Of course you can have your own office, why did you feel you had to ask?”. Is that not relationship goals? I think…

    A Trip To Gran Canaria

I spent last week lounging by the pool and beach in Gran Canaria, San Agustin. Blue skies, sunkissed skin, salty hair and sunshine is something I’ve been craving for a while and I finally got my wish. Cheap, cheerful and stress free holidays are the absolute best – especially when days consist of nothing but reading books, photographs and eating local cuisine. My Olympus Pen e-pl7 camera came along for the ride and I managed to find some great locations for some great holiday snaps. I already miss waking up here… For the first couple of days we literally did nothing but relax in the sun and sleep. The hotel we stayed…

Fives images I’ve taken with my Olympus Pen E-pl7

Any blogger or keen photographer has heard of the Olympus e-pl7 camera. It’s the new toy that everyone wants and the white ones are like gold dust to find. Naturally, I did a naughty thing and bought one. I made a promise to myself that if I secured a new job in 2016 I would treat myself and it’s quite possibly the best decision I have made, for a while at least. I’ve been experimenting and trialling the camera for a few weeks and have a new way of taking new bright and airy photographs. If you follow me on Facebook, you’ll notice I have an obsession of taking pictures of my…
