    Las Iguanas Birmingham Food Review

Latin American restaurant Las Iguanas landed a top spot on Birmingham Temple Street earlier this year. The vibrant eatery boasts incredibly strong cocktails, a wide variety of flavours and a vibrant, carnival vibe. As soon as you walk through the door, it makes you feel as though you’re on holiday; it’s a fantastic atmosphere to be inside. I’ve previously visited the Las Iguanas in the Arcadian, Birmingham but I can safely say I rate this one more. I was invited to try their fresh new menu a la carte menu and the drinks that come along with it. There’s also a separate lunch, and bottomless brunch option which should really be…

Bar + Block Steakhouse – Birmingham

It was a Tuesday evening when I walked into Bar + Block, Birmingham. I really needed a girls night out and wanted to eat a big piece of meat and drink red wine, so my pal Lorna was the perfect person to invite along. The restaurant is situated on Waterloo Street, on the corner of ‘Pigeon Park’. It’s actually located inside the Premier Inn, but don’t let this put you off as it has a separate entrance for public use. When walking through the door, the server quickly caught my eye and asked if we had a reservation. A tiny blip as I was invited for reviewing purposes but they didn’t…

The White Swan Edgbaston Food Review – Birmingham

Last month, I was contacted by the lovely PR team at McCann to see if I would like to visit The White Swan, Edgbaston after celebrating their new refurb. I never had the chance to visit before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when walking in through the door. I live in Stirchley, Birmingham and the drive to The White Swan on a Monday night took us about 20 minutes in rush hour traffic, so it’s pleasant to know it’s not too far away for my next visit. Everything from the luxurious sofas to the roaring log fire places screams elegance and sophistication. You wouldn’t actually believe it’s a…

Kukd Review – Food Takeaway Service Online

I’m not going to lie, I love takeaway food. If I’m having a rubbish week or feel too lazy to cook, I’ll usually suggest getting a takeaway for ease and convenience. Although we try not to make it too much of a regular thing, trust me. Usually we’ll order from one of the well known food companies, but recently I received an email from a new company called Kukd who asked if I would like to try their take away ordering service. As well as providing a collection and takeaway service, Kukd offers table booking service at selected restaurants which I think is a great idea. As they reiterate on…

Pieminister Birmingham – Summer Menu Blogger Review

I’d heard the name Pieminister floating around Birmingham quite a few times over the last couple of months, but it was only when I was given two meal vouchers to come and try the food that I actually researched where it is and what the place is about. Pieminister is a chain restaurant fairly new to Brum and is situated on Waterloo Street next to Adam’s. In all honesty, I was very sceptical of the place at first because 1) It’s a chain restaurant and we’re trying to encourage independent restaurants into the centre. 2) They serve pie, just little bit standard right? and 3) I hadn’t read any reviews…
