Three Church Road Edgbaston, Birmingham – Restaurant Review

I wasn’t expecting to head to a retirement village for my latest restaurant review. But oh, what a surprise it was when we walked in through the front door. Three Church Road opened last year in the beautiful Georgian building of Audley St George’s Place in Edgbaston and prides itself on beautifully presented menus and high quality service. Although the restaurant sits within the retirement village, non-residents are more than welcome to visit for dinner, afternoon tea or special events. Straight away I’d say this is somewhere I’d love to visit again in future. I was gutted that I couldn’t make the first launch last year, but thankfully their wonderful team got…

Ashwell Barn – Heart of the Cotswolds

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted a lifestyle blog. It feels like a lifetime, but I wanted to share this one with you. One of my best friend’s has recently jetted off to go travelling around Asia for a few months. So to say farewell, me and my three other besties surprised her with a luxury Airbnb stay in the Cotswolds recently. The place we stayed is a converted barn –  Ashwell Barn, Chedworth. We did nothing but eat good food, drink good drink, play games and sleep. It really was complete and utter bliss if you ask me. The barn is open plan, and sleeps up to…

The White Swan Edgbaston Food Review – Birmingham

Last month, I was contacted by the lovely PR team at McCann to see if I would like to visit The White Swan, Edgbaston after celebrating their new refurb. I never had the chance to visit before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when walking in through the door. I live in Stirchley, Birmingham and the drive to The White Swan on a Monday night took us about 20 minutes in rush hour traffic, so it’s pleasant to know it’s not too far away for my next visit. Everything from the luxurious sofas to the roaring log fire places screams elegance and sophistication. You wouldn’t actually believe it’s a…

Kukd Review – Food Takeaway Service Online

I’m not going to lie, I love takeaway food. If I’m having a rubbish week or feel too lazy to cook, I’ll usually suggest getting a takeaway for ease and convenience. Although we try not to make it too much of a regular thing, trust me. Usually we’ll order from one of the well known food companies, but recently I received an email from a new company called Kukd who asked if I would like to try their take away ordering service. As well as providing a collection and takeaway service, Kukd offers table booking service at selected restaurants which I think is a great idea. As they reiterate on…

Bank House Hotel & Spa Review – Worcester

Being a hotel blogger definitely has its perks. Even if I don’t get invited to stay over, it usually means I’m encouraged to try out the spa area for the day to relax and pamper myself. I’ve been lucky enough to review a whole range of UK spas on my blog, from Fishmore Hall in Ludlow to Champneys Springs Spa, and I’ve been lucky to work with some pretty amazing places over the past couple of years. I honestly think having a spa day is one of the best ways to treat yourself, so each time I get invited, there’s always something to look forward to. With Bank House Hotel Spa that…
