As a graduation present, the man took me to London for the weekend to go and see Derren Brown live. We have already been to three of his shows so it’s clear to say I am a huge fan!. We arrived in London and headed towards London City Suites. We stayed at the London City Suites Brewery hotel. Five stars, it was incredible. Each time we left the room, we would come back to find they had left us surprises each time.
Complimentary water and fruits. Slippers. Dressing gowns, goodnight mints and chocolates. Oh, and it also had a iPod dock next to the bed, as well as two shower heads. And the nicest bath. I have nothing but praise for the hotel, really.
We spent the day in the city, eating food and also took a trip to Harrods. It was really chilled and a much needed getaway. Because the Northern line was closed, we were accidently 15 minutes late to the show at the Palace Theatre. But we didn’t miss much. His show overall was bloody fabulous though as usual. His performances are mind-boggling. ‘Infamous’ is back next year so I won’t spoil it for those who are yet to see it. Afterwards, Josh and I ate at a Rib Shack next to all the theatres. I had BBQ chicken and Josh has the ribs. It was so worth it. Anyway, here are some pictures that I took on the trip.
