This month on Emmavictoriastokes.com, one lucky reader will win a pair of tickets to the UK’s biggest celebration of food and drink – The Foodies Festival. Visiting from the 15th-17th May, the event will pit stop in Brum, transforming Canon Hill Park into the biggest food haven in the country. The event will play host to a variety of top Michelin-star top chefs, new tasting theatres, pop-up restaurants and more street food than one person could possibly imagine.
This year, we can look forward to toasting the Foodies’ 10th anniversary in the New Wine and Champagne Theatre, where experts will guide visitors through this season’s best British bubblies from around the world. If you’re a lover of ale and beer, there will also be master-classes in the New Craft Beer Theatre, matching foods with locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic craft beers.
The most talked about section is the Street Food Avenue, the biggest feasting hub at the heart of the festival, which will offer a huge section of hot and cold dishes. You will be able to feast on Japanese, Thai, Brazilian, Argentinian, Indian, Mexican, French and African cuisine… just to name a few!
After a day of food, fun and frolicking, hungry feasters can sit back and relax while soaking up the atmosphere with live music from the entertainment stage, and a refreshing cocktail, glass of bubbly or a Pimm’s from multiple Pop-Up bars or the cider farm. Hold onto your underpants as the famous Chilli Eating Challenge will also be underway, inviting those brave enough to try and break the record of eating 14 varieties of chillies to win the Chilli Eating Crown.
To be in with the chance of winning a pair of tickets for this event (any day of your choice), simply follow the instructions below. A winner will be picked on April 30th. Don’t forget to share, and good luck! To see more, visit www.foodiesfestival.com
