An Afternoon At V Festival With Debenhams

Emma Victoria Stokes V Festival Debenhams 2017 VIPI’ve never been to V Festival before. Naturally I’ve heard really good things about it and how everyone always has an amazing time. So imagine my surprise when an email landed in my inbox from Debenhams who were getting in touch to ask if I’d like to pop along one to Hylands Park a few Saturdays ago. What’s more, the lovely team even offered to dress me for the occasion – giving me a choice to choose a festival outfit for the day. It really was a ‘pinch me’ kind of blogging moment and I’m so happy I got to document it.

We were then told we’d have full access to a separate VIP area of the festival which had plenty of food stalls, toilets, and bohemian tents which we took full advantage of. We were also given a bundle of food and drinks tickets to use at our leisure which really was a generous thing to do. To be honest, I don’t think I can look at a festival in the same way now we’ve had special treatment, it really was a luxury experience. The boho tents were beautifully decorated and the section we were in also had a separate bar entrance so we didn’t have to queue up for our booze. If that’s not a true VIP experience, then I don’t know what is.

The festival was about 3 hours from Birmingham, so it was nice to be able to travel all that way to hang with such an amazing crowd. It’s a shame I had to leave around 7pm but most of the day was spent with the gorgeous Vix Meldrew and Immy May and we had so much fun swanning up to the bar, drinking some gin and eating burgers. We got to meet the lovely social girl from the Debenhams team who took some photos of us during the day, as well as Debenhams Digital Marketing Assistant, Ellen, who helped organise the day for us.

Incredibly, Vix was invited to side of the main stage during George Ezra’s set and I’m so grateful that myself and Immy were able to go with her which was a pretty incredible experience. I captured it all on camera which you can see in my V Festival video at the bottom of this post!

I’m so grateful they allowed me to choose an item to wear from their Casual Dress ranges. All of the clothes were comfortable and not too restrictive, especially since we were walking around the festival all day. Come and take a peek at my Youtube video below. I’m really new to this game, so I’m hoping to post more videos as my vlogger skills pick up. Thanks again to Debenhams for inviting me to the festival, I had an amazing time.
