I was recently invited to a secondary school in Birmingham to talk about the importance of blogging. I created my own presentation and talked to pupils about how successful people can be if they put enough effort into their passions. I mean, look at Zoella for instance! It was nerve-racking standing in front of a class of children, because you never know what they’re going to say or how they will react. I’m so grateful because every single person was polite and I was so honoured that a lot of them took the time to ask me questions. My favourite was: “Miss, are you a millionaire?”. Not quite, but I’m glad they saw the potential…
If you’ve ever heard of the Leeds Otley run, you’ll know it’s the green mile of pub crawls. A couple of friends are moving to China, so we celebrated in style but dressing up as a country with the first initial of our names. I wanted to symbolise Egypt and it was fun dressing up for a change. I loved drawing on some winged liner.
I can breathe a sigh of relief, as I announce I’m finally moving in with my boyfriend after 8 long years. It’s been a long time coming, so whenever I go shopping now, a few items some how end up in my basket. I’m obsessed with white and our new apartment kitchen is red, so I definitely had to buy these canisters from Asda. Next up, I’m stocking up on towels, bed linen and a new bed and sofa. Exhausting, but so exciting!
“Tidy space tidy mind”. Learning to de-clutter is something that has taken time. I’ve completely stripped my bedroom back and painted my walls white which has helped me with the process. Clearing out my work bag is something I now like to do after work, and there’s nothing better than going in the next day with an organised routine. I’m completely obsessed with this cookbook by Justine Pattison and I cannot wait to cook more of her recipes in my new place. This week I’m off on a road trip to Norway . What’s your July been like?
Congratulations on moving into your own place with Josh! Happy times. When’s the house warming party? 🙂 xxx

I still have to pinch myself when I think I presented at school, it’s so crazy! What a life I’m living as a blogger. And tell me about it, I cannot wait to start buying pretty furniture and do whatever I want. x
